As Hydeas expands its technology and training divisions, we are seeking a proactive and client-focused Support / Training Officer to ensure smooth software deployment, client onboarding, and ongoing user support for our IT and SaaS solutions.
Role Overview
The Support / Training Officer acts as the bridge between the technical team and end users — ensuring that clients not only adopt our systems successfully but also gain the skills and confidence to use them effectively.
You will provide on-site and virtual user training, first-line system support, and continuous feedback loops to improve client experience and product performance.
This role is ideal for someone who combines technical understanding, clear communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client onboarding sessions and system demonstrations (in person and online).
- Deliver training workshops and produce user manuals or video tutorials.
- Provide first-line technical support, troubleshooting system or access issues.
- Log and escalate technical issues to developers where necessary.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of common user queries and solutions.
- Gather client feedback and relay improvement suggestions to the product and tech teams.
- Support post-deployment monitoring to ensure smooth client transition.
- Assist in preparing progress reports, client documentation, and evaluation summaries.
- Collaborate with the training department for cross-functional learning events.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT support, customer training, or client success roles.
- Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with web-based systems, CRM platforms, or POS software.
- Competence with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and LMS tools.
- Ability to work independently and travel to client sites within Lagos when required.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A helpful, patient, and client-centred attitude.
