As Hydeas expands its software development and digital product division, we are looking for a talented and user-centric UI/UX Designer to design intuitive, attractive, and functional user experiences across our digital platforms — including POS systems, membership dashboards, and client web applications.

Role Overview

The UI/UX Designer will work closely with the Creative Lead, Head of Projects, and Product Manager to create exceptional digital interfaces that combine usability, aesthetics, and brand consistency.

You’ll take ideas from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, ensuring that every design aligns with user needs and supports seamless interaction across devices.

This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who combines creative flair with technical understanding and user empathy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications (POS systems, dashboards, and websites).
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, process flows, and site maps that visualise user journeys.
• Work with developers to ensure designs are correctly implemented.
• Collaborate with the product team to refine requirements and deliver elegant solutions.
• Maintain brand consistency and accessibility across all platforms.
• Create visual design systems and component libraries for scalability.
• Continuously identify and implement UX improvements based on analytics and feedback.
• Prepare and present design concepts and rationales to stakeholders.

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent portfolio-based experience).
• Minimum 2–4 years’ experience in UI/UX design, preferably within tech or SaaS companies.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design principles, accessibility, and responsive layouts.
• Experience designing for web, tablet, and mobile platforms.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end development principles is an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing real-world UI/UX projects is required.
